Lime Calculator

The Lime Calculator allows users to calculate a recommended liming rate (t/ha) based on the cropping (enterprise type), measured soil pH, soil type and liming material to be applied. The system uses ALA recommendations and was developed in partnership with The University of Hertfordshire; Agriculture and the Environment Research Unit (AERU).

Installation Instructions

The Lime Calculator is designed to run on Windows 95 or higher.

To install the Lime Calculator carefully follow the steps below:

Download the Zipped file using the link above (this may take a few minutes).
Once fully downloaded 'Unzip' the file.
Double click on the file "setup.exe".
Follow the on screen instructions.
You will be informed when the installation is complete.
To run the Lime Calculator select the Lime Calculator item under Programs on your Start menu.
