Revised in August 2011 and renamed the "Fertiliser Handbook" the manual provides farmers and land managers with detailed guidance and advice on soil management factors including soil pH together with fertilisers required for the range of crops they plan to grow.
It rovides advice on the appropriate pH ranges together with levels of nutrients taking account of both mineral and organic fertilisers required to provide the best financial returns for the farm business.
